There is very little known about her, and her entire background is a big mystery (both to the AMP officers and to the reader. What is known is that Mana used to be a Chief Detective with the Tokyo police before being transferred to the AMP in 2028. She is a powerful sorceress (almost as powerful as Katsumi) and knows Nana (Nami's older sister), having last met her in 2021.
Description: Mana looks to stand about 5'7" or so. She is broad-shouldered, but narrow waisted, with a surprisingly large bust. Her black hair is worn short, barely covering the back of her neck, with a number of thick stands that fall down into her blue eyes. Mana normally dresses in suit and tie ensembles, although she has donned the traditional AMP uniform from time to time.
Powers Notes: The exact nature of Mana's powers is unknown, as is where she learned them (and Mana ain't talkin'...). The powers listed are based directly off of sequences shown in the manga. It is possible she has other powers as well, including a Flash attack (as seen in the beginning of Side 4) or some sort of defensive spells (like a Force Wall).
Mana's EB and visible RKA are both searing 'chi' energy attacks. The Invisible RKA has an effect similar to bullet, Mana points her hand and her target explodes. Her final two powers are her ability to heal the injured and drive out possession. A Dispel vs Mind control seemed to make sense for the latter power.
Mana's incatations can be very long and complex, fior example this is what she chants while casting her healing spells:
"Namusarababo dadaramasorogihiya Namuariyabarakite ishiharaya Bodaisatsutahaya Namubasarahaniya On Amiritei Unhatsura Bodaisatsuta hayatachitato hihihikaya Tohiharazi yaharani Sowaka On Kiri kiri On Kiri kiri".
The rest of Mana's skills are pretty typical for a police officer, with some stress on investigative skills.
Disadvantages Notes: Mana's disads are pretty standard for an AMP officer. Her mystical aura (Katsumi describes it as 'ki') is very strong, but only becomes apparent when Mana uses her Multipower. It should be noted that Mana is very strict and by-the-book. She is used to the more regulated environment of the normal police departments. For example; hen she first arrived, she chewed Katsumi out for being 20 minutes late (even though Katsumi was visiting with a hospitalized Nami) and was highly critical of the AMP's tactics in a conversation to Rally. On the other hand, she is more than willing to step directly into the fray and is very supportive of her officers, believing in them and their skills even in no one else does. Finally, it would seem that Mana is less than open about her past.
