Vezzini

Background/History: Vezzini is the Sicilian criminal mastermind from The Princess Bride. Hired to help start a war ("... a prestigious line of work...") by murdering Princess Buttercup, Vezzini is oily, sneaky, greedy, and evil, and those are his good points.

Personality/Motivation: Vezzini is his own worst enemy. Since he's so smart, he has a hard time dealing with anything that doesn't fit his world view. Every time the Man in Black would foil his plans, or escape from his traps, Vezzini would dream up some improbable explanation as to why. He also stated as "inconceivable" everything that didn't go according to plan. Inigo says it best: "You keep using that word [inconceivable]. I do not think it means you think it means."

Quote: "Inconceivable!"

Powers/Tactics: Vezzini's most dangerous weapon is his mind. He is a deductive genius, able to determine information from the slightest of evidence. This ability is so pronounced that he can virtually read minds, and always seems to know what most people are thinking (and therefore, what their plans are). He also seems to know just about everything. The actual extent of what he knows is best left the GM to decide.

Appearance: Vezzini is short, probably standing just over five feet in height. One leg is shorter than the other, and he has the makings of a hunchback. At one point, he is described as having an "angelic" and "gentle" face.
