Background/History: Misty Brown first appears being chased by Rally Vincent and manages to convince Rally to help her clear her name from a false theft charge. Later, after serving time for the crimes she did commit (she is an experienced cat-burglar after all), Misty joins up with Rally and Minnie-May as the resident lock expert and assistant bounty hunter.
Personality/Motivation: Misty, as a sneak thief and cat-burglar has an extensive police record and has served time at least once for her crimes. She loves Rally (and Misty may be a lesbian) for clearing her name in one case and for helping her out when Goldie tried to have her killed. Goldie, meanwhile, seems to have it in for Misty, having captured her at least once to use as a "pet." Misty hasn't had the best time of it, and her die of Unluck reflects more the bad things that happen to her rather than any in combat troubles.
Quote: "I got a rap sheet ten pages long! The freakin' pigs ain't gonna listen to me!!"
Powers/Tactics: Misty is an excellent sneak thief, cat-burglar and lockpick. She can go though almost any lock in seconds and with such simple tools as a hairpin. She is also very good with knives, both in hand-to-hand and throwing them. She usually carries a selection, including switchblades as well a balanced throwing blades.
Appearance: Misty is a touch shorter than Rally, standing about 5'4". She is slight of build, and has brown hair and blue eyes. She normally dresses in jeans and buttons down shirts and keeps several throwing knives on her person. Misty bears a remarkable resemblance to the character of Priss from the anime series Bubblegum Crisis. This is due to Sonada being the character designer for BGC and simply recycling the design for Gunsmith Cats. Apparently several of the characters in GSC look similar to characters Sonada created for other shows, an occurrence that is common among some manga artists.
