Background/History: Born into a military family, Cyan is a "Military Brat" through and through. She enlists into the US Army when she is of legal age and wastes no time trying to get into the action. Wanting to be a model soldier like her father, Cyan strives to be all that she can be, but ops for Medicine instead of standard infantry due to her desire to help others more so than harm.
Becoming a field EMT early in her career, she meets her husband (Red Chartreuse) while on duty in Afghanistan. During their time there Cyan comes to slowly loathe the life of a soldier constantly surrounded by death. Looking to her husband for support in her wartime depression, Cyan finds the strength to move on with Red and see their tour to its finish. One week before they rotate out, their encampment comes under terrorist fire and Red; while driving a Humvee out of the camp; is bombed down. Cyan attempts to save him from the burning wreckage, but loses her ring and pinky finger on her right hand as well as suffering severe burns on her arm. Red dies and Cyan is dismissed from the service due to her injuries and PTSD.
Now with nothing left to cling to but her work as a Medic, Cyan simply works as a civilian EMT while trying to cope with the loss of her husband and her sense of inadequacy to save him. She still holds her principles highly in helping others, but has become cold and distant to family and friends around her.
Taking some time off for some much needed R&R at the request of her friends, family, and work, Cyan finds herself on a plane heading for Bermuda. Regardless of the vacation's purpose all Cyan can think about is how things could be different if only she had the means to change things....
Personality/Motivation: Starting out in her youth, Cyan is a very happy and optimistic individual. With a great sense of humor and always looking to do the right thing to help others, Cyan is the kind of person people simply love to be around. Holding human life very highly, Cyan wants nothing more than to help others the best she can.
All of that changes though after her extended tour in Afghanistan. Cyan becomes more cynical and cold from the overhang of constant battle, but still finds love and hope from her husband Red.
After Red's untimely death, Cyan promises to herself to never loose the love and hope that Red helped her maintain during her active years. Although more cold and distant from people now, Cyan still holds the principle of helping others very highly. From time to time though, she does find herself depressed at all that has happened in her life and has to remind herself to keep going strong as Red would have wanted her to.
Cyan simply now lives to help others and find some way to come to terms with her inner pains. If only she had the means to change things....

Appearance: Cyan is a fairly average looking women of her ethnic descent. There is nothing too glaring about her unless one were to see that she has scars from a 3rd degree burn riding up her right arm, as well as some minor scarring around her clavicle and right jaw, and is missing two fingers on her right hand (ring and pinky). This is her most defining feature beyond her exceptional height.
