Designer's Notes: Grospolina (the exact spelling of this name is difficult to determine) is a extra-dimensional being in the shape of a massive sword. Trapped in an obelisk following the death of it's former master, Gigelf Liqueur, Grospolina was freed by Katsumi. Freeing Grospolina required Katsumi to give the sword some of her blood. This done, the sword was released and able to bond itself with Katsumi. This bonding made the sword effectively weightless to Katsumi, since now, it had become like an extension of Katsumi's own body.
Description: Grospolina is a HUGE sword, fully 8 feet or so long. It's a dark brownish black color, and rather indescribable in appearance. (John Prenis describes it as so: In its "resting phase" Grospolina resembles a dragon head. When commanded by a spell, it extrudes a jagged metal tongue and what looks like an extension of its spine.) Suffice to say, the blade is wickedly curved, with a horned hilt and a long tail that swings from the handle. This tail is usually wrapped around Katsumi's arm in combat, hence the STR only to resist disarming. To make this easy for the reader, I've included a picture up top.
Powers Notes: Note: Grospolina was built using the artifact design rules in Fantasy Hero. Grospolina has powers typical for a sword. It also serves as Katsumi's advisor, using it's extensive knowledge of sorcery and Lucifer Folk.
Disadvantages Notes: Aside from such problems as size and notoriety among mid- and high-level entities, Grospolina has sworn itself to serve the Liqueur blood line. Thus, it will try to guide Katsumi as best as it can, and will do nothing to harm her.
