Designer's Notes: Preston is a robot dog built by Wendolene Ramsbottom's father, who appears as a large bulldog who wears a broad spiky collar around his neck. Silent and brooding, he helps Wendolene steal sheep in an effort to corner the market on wool. A bit later, he decides to go into business for himself, turning the sheep into Preston Brand dog food. Wallace, Gromit, and Wendolene, with help from a sheep named Shaun, manage to defeat Preston, running him through his own mutton mulching machine. All's well that ends well, however, as Wallace rebuilds Preston to be almost as good as new, much to Wendolene's delight.
