Background/History: Angela's family originally hailed from Korea, coming to America in the early 1950's to escape the chaos of the Korean War. Her mother was adopted into a Caucasian family while still an infant, hence Angela's non-ethnic last name. Angela herself was born in New York, and like her father, joined the NYPD right out of high school. She has served with the NYPD for 10 years and has an impeccable service record. Angela was sent to work with the AMP following an encounter between elements of the NYPD and an Entity. While with the AMP, Angela serves as Mana's second in command, tacking careful note of the AMP's procedures and methods in hopes of forming a similar team when she returns to New York.

Personality/Motivation: For Angela, being a police officer is her life. She is very dedicated to her job, almost too dedicated some say, and is a strong believer of doing it 'properly'. Thus, she works extra hours, making sure that things are handled in a proper manner. She is a committed police officer and is very honest in operations, observing the proper legalities and not allowing any one to cross the line. As an AMP officer, she will carry out Mana's orders to the letter, but will also attempt to ensure that her fellow AMP officers do not abuse their authority in pursuit of a case. In general, most people find her to be a touch formal and very efficient. Naturally, she and Noriko get along rather well.

Quote: "I've been with the NYPD for ten years. Worked my from patrol officer to precinct captain. I've got three citations for bravery, been shot twice and have never once received any form of disciplinary notice. That good enough for you?"

Powers/Tactics: As she has no real powers, Angela tires to avoid direct confrontation with Lucifer Folk and Entities. Her skill with the pistol is such that she prefers to hang back and provide covering fire for those officers more suited to tacking Entities and other supernatural creatures close up. Against more 'human' opponents, Angela will draw her blaster first, and try to settle any situation through intimidation. If that fails she will fire on any potential attackers. If closely pressed, she will draw her stunstick and use it in conjunction with her kenpo training to render any attackers ineffective.

Appearance: Angela isn't very tall, standing a mere 5'1" or so with long black hair and green eyes. She is slim, but well muscled for her size, and keeps herself in shape through fitness training and her daily kenpo practice. While on duty, she will wear her full AMP uniform and tends to wear the armored even while in the office. Off duty, Angela dresses more casually, but still tends for an 'upper-class' look to her clothing. At all time, Angela can be counted to be either smoking a cigarette or drinking coffee. It should be noted that Angela has a frequent cough, a by product of her chain smoking.
