Lieutenant Brogan,
In light of recent events, I would like to suggest a way for the Squad to become better acclimated and more like a team.

We should room as one. All of us in one barracks. We take meals together, train together, and so on. We would do this in the arena, to encourage bonding and unity. Perhaps this would help bring the group together as one, and bring greater understanding among us.

Thank you for your consideration,
Chrysine

Officer Chrysine,
I agree that the Crash Team would benefit from spending more time together. However, I'm not sure how much bonding some of them are prepared for. At this point, constantly living together might actually increase the amount of friction between some squad members, rather than reduce it. There would also be the question of where the squad would be staying. There's no barracks line item in the Crash Team budget, so we'd have to find a suitable place and pay for it out of pocket. And in my case, I would have to consider Mrs. Squad Leader's opinion of such living arrangements at this time, and its possible impact on our divorce proceedings.

However, it would probably help a great deal if the Crash Team spent some time together in their off-hours. If you'd like to take the initiative on this, you can count on my full support. Let me know how I can help you.

Thank you,
Lt. Mitch Brogan

Officer Thornhallow,
Last week you said ‘a team that works together needs to play together.’ I mentioned this to Lieutenant Brogan, who thinks this is an excellent idea. Once everyone is released from hospital care and we are back up to full strength as a Squad, what do you think? Shall we take the rest of the Squad out as you asked me? I think it will help to make us more of a team and help clear up some of the confusion as to who we are and what we are to be doing. As Plato said, “You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.”

Thank you for your consideration,
Chrysine

C,
Ooooh, sounds like fun! "The Armageddon Clock" is a no-questions asked club where none of us are going to stand out. They've got a ladies night on the 11th, were we won't get charged a cover fee. We'll have to escort Mitch and Stick-In-The-Butt. The place goes wild at midnight, so we're going to have to stay for that!

Ladies, LT., and Stick-in-the-Butt!

Well, it appears that after being shot up, beat up, blown up, and burned up, we're going to finally get a chance to say 'hello' and meet each other! You're all invited out to "The Armageddon Clock" for some Tumblers and Kicking this thursday (2/11) for ladies night assuming we aint Brown Bread 'fore then.

TTFN,
DD!

Excellent planning, Officer Thornhallow. I look forward to seeing everyone there. (Though I should stress attendance at this event isn't mandatory!) For the purpose of organizing 'unofficial' events for the Crash Team in the future, I would recommend you compile a list of personal e-mails. The department doesn't officially approve the use of intra-mail for this sort of thing. I'll slap you on the wrist at the A.C. unless it completely slips my mind.

Lieutenant Brogan,
How should we dress for this? Is this an official XSWAT/CRASH Team function?

Thank you,

Chrysine,
It's a 'plainclothes' operation, and definitely unofficial. However, I expect if you go shopping with Didi, the clothes will be anything but plain. I hope to hear a full report on your trip once we arrive at the A.C.
