Background/History: Poolo is a small floating cat. He is Yamcha's closest friend and constant companion. Poolo isn't really much more than a minor character in Dragon Ball Z, showing up from time to time in the early parts of the series and virtually dropping out of sight later on. His later appearances are usually limited to crowd scenes and the like. His name may or may not be a pun. It has been written as Pool, Poolo, Pooalu, and Puar.
Personality/Motivation: Due to Poolo's general lack of major interaction with other characters, it is hard to give an actual personality to Poolo. His most recognizable character trait is his devotion to Yamcha. He follows Yamcha everywhere and does all he can to aid the former bandit.
Powers/Tactics: As with Oolong, Poolo can shape shift into virtually anything. The major difference, however, is that Poolo can stay shifted for an indefinite about of time. His forms have included a flying carpet, a flyswatter, a giant pair of scissors, and a bad copy of Son Goku.
Appearance: Poolo is a tiny floating cat. He's two to three feet tall, gray with a yellow underside. Naturally, his shape shifting powers allow him to assume virtually any form.
