Description: The Chou-Syou-Fu spell summons several large tentacles (usually 4 to 6), each resembling a snake with a fearsome mouth. The tentacles will move toward the target and try to wrap around it, coming in from all directions. Each tentacle will appear from caster's hand and will grow up to 5 game inches. If the attack is successful, the Chou-Syou-Fu will shape itself to a huge sphere, keeping the victim completely immobilized inside.
This character sheet represents a single Chou-Syou-Fu, a beast magician must buy a Summon powerful enough to summon sufficient Chou-Syou-Fu to accomplish whatever task(s) he desires. When attacking, the Chou-Syou-Fu will use Teamwork to coordinate their Grab, attempting to grapple with and then wrap up, the target. One the Chou-Syou-Fu has the target grabbed, they will Crush the target (applying 23 base STR, +5 for each additional tentacle) until the target stops struggling. If the target goes limp, the Chou-Syou-Fu will not Crush, but will hold the target tightly. If the target can break free of the first tentacle, and then can get out of range of the rest (roughly 30’) then the spell will fail and the Chou-Syou-Fu will return to their home plane. If the target doesn’t get out of range, the tentacles will keep trying to reach him until either the beast magician is killed or rendered unconscious, the tentacles are destroyed, or the target gets out of range.
Each tentacle has a mouth with fangs and sharp teeth, capable of doing 1/2d6 HKA by biting, and they will not think twice before trying to eat their way to the target. If one summons two instances of Chou-Syou-Fu at the same target (e.g.: a caster summons 3 tentacles, and later 3 more tentacles), they will fight each other instead of working together, possibly killing the target if it was already trapped by one set of tentacles.
