Strange and unusual animal remains are found all the time the world over. Some wash up shore, either pulled up from the ocean depths or the remains of some creature that died far out to sea. Others appear along river banks, having been swept away from some distant location or the result of erosion. Still others are found after Œheavy rains have washed away the covering layer of dirt. Some are disturbingly fresh, others near fossils. All tend to puzzle science.

Possible chupacarbra skeleton discovered on the island of Puerto Rico.

These fossilized remains of a humanoid "fish-man" are thought to be responsible for ancient stories of mermaids and the like.

This length of skeleton was spotted projecting from a melting iceberg. Its origins are as yet unknown.
