Shion Claris, Empress of Helgebard. Shion is found in Johji Manabe's manga series Caravan Kidd. I did this piece for a Dark Horse art contest. It didn't win, but I thought it looked pretty good anyway. This is probably the first "real" piece of anime artwork I ever did. I will admit to being "smitten" with Shion's character design, and she ended up lending her first name and hair to Shion Nys of Kazei 5 fame. I also created a HERO System character sheet for Empress Shion Claris.
