As near as I can guess, the home were rowhouses, lined up side-by-side. This shot shows some of the semi-restored foundations and walls, with modern additions in the form of the table, chairs, bookshelf, and clock. You can walk though this area, gaining entry from the stairs in the far upper right corner. The previous photo was taken from the left and from behind this point of view.
