Background:
Bayman was born and raised in Russia. He aspired to join the military, and became one of Russia's highly-trained commandos. But before he saw any action, the Soviet Union collapsed. Realizing the new regime would have no use for him, Bayman slipped through the cracks of the reformation. He took up the life of an mercenary, putting his skills to good use in all manner of lethal assignments. He found particular pleasure in assassinations, especially challenging or high-profile assignments.

His dream assignment came to him. Bayman was entered into the first "Dead or Alive World Tournament" with the objective of assassinating its organizer, the renowned world leader Fame Douglas. His task completed, Bayman fled, now branded an outlaw.

When the second DoA tournament was announced, Bayman caught word of one of the entrants; an Italian mercenary named Leon. Bayman risked capture to enter the tournament again, hoping to find and challenge his old acquaintance.

Personality/Motivation:
Bayman is a hardened killer. Worse still, he enjoys his work. He is merciless in combat, thinking nothing of maiming and crippling his opponents. He is something of a showoff, preferring to work high-profile assignments and kill his targets with his martial skill. In battle, he usually talks down the opponent, constantly calling them weak and worthless.

Quote: "It only takes a moment to lose."

"You're nothing."

"Is this all you've got?"

Tactics/Powers:
Bayman is highly trained in several areas of combat, but prefers his hand-to-hand skills. He is trained in Russian Commando Sambo, a martial art that combines elements of traditional wrestling with a brutal commando style. Although skilled in brawling, Bayman prefers the often deadly throws and joint breaks of his style, typically leaving his opponent crippled.

Appearance:
Bayman is a rough-featured man of average height with a strong build. He has very short black hair and narrow brown eyes. His usual mode of dress is a sensible combat uniform, consisting of fatigue pants, a singlet, a thick vest and his trademark red beret.
