Description: As a young man, the otherwise unnamed protagonist of He Went To Paris, traveled to the city of Paris, "Lookin' For Answers/To Questions That Bothered Him So." He never found what he was looking for, but instead fell in love with the city, the warm summers, the wine, and the cheeses, and eventually stayed for a good four to five years. He then went to England, fell in love (with an actress named Kim), and got married. Supporting himself by playing the piano, he lived there for twenty years, raising a son by the name of Jim. However, World War II took his son away, while the German air raids killed his wife and cost him an eye.

His world in ruins, he recalled the question he never had answered, so he found work on an outgoing freighter and left England "without a sound." At best guess he worked as a sailor for some time, "skidded the ocean," eventually ending up in the Caribbean. Now, aged 86, he spends his time fishing, writing his memoirs, and generally accepting his life.

"He Went To Paris" was built around the Sailor package from Pulp Hero. He's been around, seen a lot, and even at age 86 is still going strong (albeit slower). Technically he's alive in 1973 or so, but you could easily adopt him to just about any genre—swap W.W.II for W.W.I and he could be the perfect pulp contact or party NPC!
